You
are invited to make a 1-hour presentation, host a 1-hour roundtable
discussion, or conduct a 2-hour workshop about mathematics or computer
science education at the 24th Annual Virginia Mathematical Association
of Two-Year Colleges (VMATYC) conference. The conference will be
held at the John H. Daniel campus of Southside Virginia Community
College (SVCC) at Keysville, Virginia. Presentations and
workshops will take place from 2 PM to 5 PM on Friday, April 2, and
from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, April 3.
All of the classrooms that will be used for presentations, discussions,
and workshops are equipped with presentation stations (computer,
ceiling-mounted projector, and video player) and smart boards.
They can seat 30 to 50 people each, depending on the room.
Computer labs are also available. Each lab has computers for 20
people and a presentation station.
Sessions pertaining to computer science, adjunct faculty, use of
technology, online homework, calculus, and statistics are especially
welcome at this year's conference. If you would like to make a
presentation, host a discussion, or conduct a workshop, please fill in

available in both .doc (Word) format and .pdf (Acrobat Reader) format.
